The Joyful Noise preschool program provides a solid academic foundation for students to be able to move on to Kindergarten level work. Before entering Kindergarten at Joyful Noise, students are expected to be able to:
- State full name and age
- Identify upper and lower-case letters
- Identify numbers 0-10
- Follow simple two step directions
- Repeat directions
- Separate easily from parents
- Respect/obey teachers
- Sit and listen to a story for 10 minutes
- Be able to work on one activity for 10 minutes
- Write their own name
- Use scissors and pencil properly
- Take turns
